About
In the Fall of 2020, I was doing a lot of listening and talking with partners, clients, team, friends and family. The word that came up over and over again was Stuck. People were already stuck, worried about getting stuck, thinking about how their team was stuck. It made me think about the industry that I’ve spent my career in – technology – and how tech always keeps moving forward. The industry might stumble, slow down at times and then it surges ahead.
Years ago I had developed a blueprint for myself that included the insights on how the tech industry consistently innovated and I used it to help keep me always moving forward. It was time to turn that blueprint into a book and UNSTUCKABLE: Never be stuck in business again with tools from tech innovators, got underway.
Creating the Book
Deciding to the write the book was the easy part. Knowing where to begin became the challenge. I knew there had to be other women business leaders who also wanted to write their first book and would want to work together to figure it out. Emails started going out, 9 other women put their hands up and we gathered virtually together to start to figure it out. We called ourselves The 10.
The 10 invited authors, editors, publishers and marketers to meet with us to help us understand the book creation journey. Everyone we asked to help said yes. With the support of the community we built our books are launching and inspiring even more business books by women.
